If you are a beekeeper you will not want to miss this. NY Apiculturist Paul Cappy will be giving a brief lecture on American Foul Brood which has had a recent outbreak in NY State. He will discuss how to diagnose, treat and prevent future outbreaks. An absolute must if you keep hives!

The Chi Hive presents a one mile Honeybee Fun Run, come dressed as a bee and run, walk or jog through Narrowsburg! The start and finish are at in front of the Narrowsburg Uinion.


Main Street Parade and costume Contest

Get your best bee costume on, dress up the kids, the dog and drive down in your vintage car and join the Honeybee Parade! Line is at 12:15 at The Union and the parade will march down Main Street. Then stick around because those costumes will be reviewed by "Special Guest" judges who will award cash prizes to the best Adult and Kids costumes!

Beehive Health Seminar

Dr. McArt, assistant professor of pollinator health at Cornell University will hold a 1 hour seminar on common parasites/pathogens in New York and how individual beekeeper management practices contribute to overall health of bees in the state. He will also offer simple methods to assess varroa levels as well as diagnosing other problems in the hive.

Mildred Archaeology

Mildred Archaeology is an ongoing project revealing hidden histories of Mildred’s Lane. The old farmhouse on site is a small, 1830-1840s homestead with a 1790s hearth. We call this historic building The Mildred House, and The Mildred’s Lane Transhistorical Society and Museum. J. Morgan Putt will also be selling her families Big Island Honey from Hawaii all day.
